Bob Gerbracht

Bob Gerbracht received the American Artist magazine Achievement Award for Teacher of Pastel, Lifetime Achievement Award from the Sonoma Plein Air association and Pastel Laureate Award from the Pastel Society if the West Coast. He is an advisor to the Pastel Society of the West Coast, a member of the Society of Western Artists, and a Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of America.

Articles by Bob or of his work and teaching have been included in The Artist’s Magazine, the Art and Antique Collector, American Artist, and numerous other publications. His work is included in the Best of Oil Painting, The Best of Pastel I & II. Portrait Inspirations, the Best of Portrait Painting, Pure Color - The Best of Pastel, Strokes of Genius - The Best of Drawing and many other books. He is included in the following Who’s Who: in American Art, in American Education, in California, in the West, and in America.

Bob also teaches weekly classes in San Francisco when not teaching a workshop away. He lives in Pinole California.
